A bespoke video delivery system consisting of an app and a back-end system.
Problem statement
This client hired me to work on their bespoke video delivery system. The project consisted of two applications. One where the end-user gets to create their custom videos, and the other where the company can manage the templated and videos the end-users can work with.
The platform is used by companies like Pon, Gazelle and Aegon, where they can create branded vlogs, corporate broadcasts and personalised videos. But all within the same identity and using the same bumpers and title screens for example.

Iterations
For the end-user I designed a mobile first video editor where you can trim and edit each individual videosegment in the sequence.
The portal is more focused on advanced users where they can overview what has been produced and delivered. Also there’s the possibility to view statistics and user management.
Results
- This platform was used as a pilot for future platforms
- Large volumes of video data created through this tool
- Learnings on technical capabilities as well as what end-users wanted for their use cases.
- This tool was improved into a second version called Skideo
